It was agreed to continue having regulat meetings at Marian's House for the time being, but
possibly having a more "casual" type of meeting every 2 weeks when possible with flexible
dates. Once again we want to establish a Town Government Library, as a resource for both
the selectman, planning board, and residents. In addition, the web site
www.HartsLocation.com we will try to start
populating with resources for the public to utilize. Bob will transfer ownership of
the website name to the town (he currently has it registered under his name).
- Wanted to remind ourselves, and to let the word out to everyone that
Jeb Bradley, one of our NH Congressman will be at the
Town Hall in Hart's Location at 10AM on Saturday, July 16, 2005. This is a great time
for anyone to have a conversation with Jeb Bradley regarding any assistance, especially
in regards to federal goverment issues.
- The Selectmen then signed the Resident Tax Warrant and returned it to the
State of New Hampshire as required.
- Marvin presented his draft of a letter to be mailed in reagrds to the ongoing storage
of used railroad ties by Conway Scenic Railroad along Route 302. Some small changes
were made and the letter will be mailed via registered mail to CSRR.
- Selectmen then discussed the drafting of a letter to be sent to property owners
in regards to the upcoming re-evalution by
Nyberg Purvis & Associates, which will occur in July.
A date has not
yet been set, most likely it will be mid-July and take one week to complete.
Points that should be covered in the letter to property owners were discussed,
primary was the desire to have access to all residences during the
week.
Bob will begin drafting a letter to be mailed to property owners.
We also received the required insurance binder for Nyberg Purvis.
- Discussed letter received from the NH Dept. of Environmental Services asking towns
to "catalog" Beach Areas in town, not being sure if we should include unoffical swimming
areas or campgrounds, there was a contact listed that we will utilize for further
information.
- The regular June Selectman meeting was rescheduled to Monday, June 13, 2005 because
of scheduling conflicts for the usual 4th Monday of the month.
